Let's face it, our industry has not done the best job of training new analysts. There is an unspoken expectation for analysts to be ready to go, Day 1. While many universities have helped bridge the education gap, there is a still an immense disconnect between what's learned in the classroom and the real-world skills needed.

Despite being one of America's largest industries, a large majority of "training" comes in the form of figuring it out yourself. Ultimately, this approach wastes a ton of time on the job, and leaves a monumental learning curve for incoming commercial real estate analysts.

Turning Frustration into Action
Our team, after experiencing this exact frustration during their careers in the industry, created The Analyst Lab. We experimented on our analysts, learned what works, and what doesn't. We combined our expertise, work ethic, and core values, and developed a training plan for new analysts based on our experiences in the industry.
